Wooden Perpetual Calendar
Building the perpetual calendar comes with the benefit of having a design catered to your liking and not having to ever purchase one again. The choice of the dowels and rings brings a simple concept to life with a clean look that is easily readable and user friendly.
The font chosen for this was Fino Sans Regular. Using a laser engraver enabled me to make the choice of a daintier font that's clean and sophisticated. Originally, each ring was conceptually connected by bands to be stretched across the dowels. Deciding to take those out of the design made the functionality much more effective and reduces the need of replacements for bands.
